July Surprise

When do you realize that you maybe on to something? At the idea level? The first iteration of the site? Friend and family comments (always positive :)? Or when you get your first paying customer? I guess all of the above. We've been pleasantly surprised at the amount of traffic and the generous feedback on this site. The surprise however? Not much activity for car certificates (yet!). Though the site has really been up for a few days I am astonished to see how much interest there is for our Vacation Certs vs Car Certs. Don't get me wrong as a small company we are grateful for all the business and interest just surprised that Vacation is so much more popular than cars!

well folks I have to tell you I am very excited. finally buttoned it up and got you enough car deals to re-launch with a brand new car section. most makes and models (and more being added soon!) at invoice or less. most people I spoke to before venturing into these dangerous "car buying process madness" asked for a simple and efficient way to buy a new car. get me a deal you all asked.

interview 300 people and ask them the two most important parts of a car buying process and the answer would be the same, I want a good deal (not necessarily even the best deal, just a good deal!) and I do not want to spend my whole day at a dealership and or worse at several. people are also generally tired of the "come on", "low ball ads". Give me a deal and make it painless and I am your buyer. how simple and reasonable is that?

proud to say we've done just that. once you purchase a certificate from this site you are guaranteed two "little" things: peace of mind that the price (and or deal) you have seen here on this site is "real" and two you don't have to wait around for hours to get it either. Just present it to the guy / gal we send you too and you are done. Just pick the color :)

It's alive!

We have launched! This has been debated in our offices for quite a while. The question was, do we get a professional blog writer to write for this section or should one of us do it? Well that got settled quickly. We would write it. It is our baby and we’d like to speak directly to our customers.

Would have been great if we could claim to have re-written the rules and or re-invented the wheel. We didn’t. Out of a need for us and our family and after weeks of frustrating searches and dead ends we decided to start our own company. They say the best / most useful companies are born out of an immediate need /necessity for the founders themselves.

Getting a discount on a vacation shouldn’t be hard!

We will write often and share our thoughts, comments and most important experiences. We hope you are going to enjoy this as much as we are.
